How It Works
You (the consignor) bring in your gear and together we agree on a selling price. When your gear sells, you receive a percentage of the selling price (in cash or store credit) according to the table below.

Store Credit - more percentage for your consigned items!
- You receive 10 points more on consigned items when you choose our "store credit" model. For example, receiving store credit on an item selling for $100 would earn you $60 store credit (as opposed to $50 cash).
- You use your store credit to purchase other Second Gear items.
Store Policies
- Selling price is initially determined by Second Gear with input from the consignor. After 60 days, Second Gear may adjust the selling price on non-apparel, boots and shoes without consulting the consignor. Apparel, boots or shoes that remain unsold after 180 days may be donated by Second Gear to Goodwill or a similar organization.
- Items are placed on consignment for no less than 30 days. After 90 days, Second Gear may ask the consignor to retrieve unsold items. If the consignor fails to respond to Second Gear's request to retrieve unsold items, then the consigned items shall become property of Second Gear.
- At the beginning of each month, Second Gear will send a check to the consignor for all items sold in the previous month.
